COMMUNITY

More than a word. A reflection of belonging.

Community is more than the place we come from. It is the people who shape our lives, the experiences we share, and the ways we show up for one another, even when life is complicated.

Inspired by 629: A First-Generation Tale in America, this statement T-shirt recognizes the strength found in shared experiences, collective care, and the communities that help shape our understanding of ourselves and the world.

The Three Statements Behind the Collection

Community — The people, relationships, and shared experiences that create belonging, mutual care, and collective strength.

Resilience — The capacity to persevere, adapt, and continue becoming through life's challenges.

Connection — The meaningful relationships and understanding we build through listening, sharing our stories, and recognizing one another.

Each word represents a different dimension of the human experience. Together, they reflect the enduring themes of 629: the strength to keep becoming, the communities that shape us, and the connections that remind us we do not journey alone.

Supplier-provided measurements might differ by up to 2 inches (5 cm).

A useful tip is to compare these measurements with one of your own garments at home by measuring it similarly.

A Length

Begin at the collar on the top (high point shoulder) and draw the measuring tape down to the garment's bottom.

B Width

Start the measurement at the seam right below one sleeve and extend the tape across to the seam underneath the opposite sleeve.

C Sleeve length

Position the tape at the top of the set-in sleeve and extend it down to the sleeve's hem.
